- Biconcave lenses are mainly used in imaging systems to collect and focus light. They are widely used in transmitter, detector, laser, optical fiber and other product fields. It is especially suitable for high-power laser in ultraviolet to near-infrared band.
- Zinc selenide has high light transmittance; Passband 0.5-22 μ m. Especially 10.6 μ m.
- It is widely used in thermal imaging and FLIR systems. Its excellent low absorption coefficient and thermal shock resistance make it an ideal choice for high-power CO2 laser applications.
- Calcium fluoride (CaF2) can be used directly without coating in some applications with a wide spectral range. In particular, it has small absorption and high laser threshold. It is very suitable for application in excimer laser optical system. As zinc selenide is a relatively soft material, it is easy to leave scratches and dents on the surface during processing, so it is not recommended to be used in harsh environment.
