It can be used for glass heating, defrosting, defogging and liquid crystal display.

This method is characterized by less equipment investment, easy regulation, low product cost, good chemical stability and hot processing. It is one of the most promising production methods. The sol gel process is simple and stable, and the disadvantage is that the optical transmittance of the product is too high and the decoration is poor.
