Silver Plated Off-axis Paraboloid Mirror
Silver-coated off-axis parabolic reflectors can separate the focus from the optical path in space, realize light source collimation and parallel light focusing at a specific angle, and support infinite focus. The total reflection design can eliminate the absorption loss and phase delay introduced by the transmission optical element. The off-axis parabolic mirror with pinholes has a light-transmitting hole at a specified angle on the mirror body, which can realize the coaxial propagation of two light waves in space.
The off-axis angle of the off-axis parabolic mirror is 90° or 45°. The “off-axis angle” means that the focused beam and the collimated beam are perpendicular, that is, the propagation axis of the collimated beam should be perpendicular to the substrate, so as to achieve the ideal focusing effect, as shown in the right figure.

The off-axis parabolic reflector is made of high-quality aluminum, and its parabola is coated with a metal reflective film. There are three types: protective gold, protective silver, and UV-enhanced aluminum.
The average reflectivity of the protected gold off-axis parabolic mirror in the 0.65-12um band can reach more than 96%,
The average reflectivity of the protected silver off-axis parabolic mirror in the 0.45-2um band can reach more than 95%;
The average reflectivity of the UV-enhanced aluminum off-axis parabolic mirror in the 250-450nm band can reach more than 85%.
