Pyramid prism, also known as retroreflector, is a prism made of BK7 or UV fused silica. We can provide customized corner cube prisms of various sizes. The incident end face can be plated with AR film as required, and the reflecting surface can be plated with metal film.
- Advantages of pyramid prism: the prism is not sensitive to the incident angle of incident light. When incident within a certain range of incident angle, the outgoing light or image will be reflected by 180 °. It is an ideal reflective optical element.
- Disadvantages of pyramid prism: incident light and outgoing light will not overlap, and they will be staggered by a distance. After the reflected light passes through the pyramid prism, its polarization state will change.
