  • The N-BK7(K9) plano-concave lens can diverge a collimated beam from a virtual focal point and is commonly used in Galilean beam expanders. Plano-concave lenses have negative focal length and negative spherical aberration, which can be used to compensate for aberrations in other lenses within the system.

These plano-convex lenses are also available in uncoated versions and versions with three broadband antireflective coatings: A-coating (350-700 nm), B-coating (650-1100 nm), or C-coating (1050-1700 nm).
