The window is a transparent protective window that allows light to enter from one environment to another different environment. Different temperatures, pressures, chemical compositions or cleanliness will affect its light projection. High transmittance and low refraction can be achieved through coating, allowing light to pass as much as possible.

K9 (BK7) is a common borosilicate glass with a transmission range of 350nm~2100nm. It has high homogeneity and low content of bubbles and impurities. It can be directly used as a material for transmission optics. Due to its stable chemical properties and high hardness, it can be used to make various optical components from visible light to near infrared, such as flat windows, lenses, prisms, etc. These components are widely used in optoelectronics, microwave technology and other fields.

k9 Wedge Window Common Specifications and Dimensions Table

K9 wedge prisms are usually used to deflect the incident light beam to a specified direction according to a set deflection angle. When used in pairs, the outgoing light beam can be positioned in any direction within a cone with the incident light beam as the axis through the relative rotation of the two wedges.

The following four models are available: (1) uncoated; (2) VIS coated (350~700nm); (3) NIR coated (600~1100nm); (4) SWIR coated (900~1700nm).

K9 Parallel Flat Crystal Common Specifications

There are two types of optical flat crystals: single-sided parallel flat crystals and double-sided parallel flat crystals

One optical surface of the K9 high-precision single-sided optical flat crystal has been precisely ground and polished, and its flatness accuracy is very high. It is often used as a standard plane to detect and identify the flatness error and grinding performance of other components with high gloss surfaces.

Both optical surfaces of the K9 high-precision double-sided optical flat crystal have been precisely ground and polished. Both the upper and lower surfaces have high flatness accuracy and high parallelism. Any side can be used as a standard plane.

Generally used as a standard plane to detect and identify the flatness error and grinding performance of other components with high gloss surfaces. Each optical flat crystal we provide is finely polished and tested using a Zygo interferometer to ensure surface accuracy.

K9 Frosted Glass Diffuser Common Specifications

There are two specifications of frosted glass diffusers: single-sided frosted and double-sided frosted. 120 grit, 220 grit, 600 grit, 1500 grit are available; the diameter is 25.4mm and 50.8mm. Single-sided frosting can be customized with anti-reflection coating 400nm~700nm, 650nm~1100nm and 1000nm~1700nm. Double-sided frosting is uncoated.

Borisun provides a variety of frosted polished surfaces to achieve a variety of scattering applications from fine to coarse. Generally speaking, coarse sand (120, 220) can achieve greater diffuse scattering, but the transmittance is low; while fine sand (600, 1500) has a reduced diffuse scattering effect but can provide higher transmittance.
