Dichroic filters can be used to transmit wavelengths longer than the starting wavelength or shorter than the cutoff wavelength.

Dichroic filters are divided into long wave pass filters and short wave pass filters. The dichroic spectrophotometer can be used for fluorescence excitation spectroscopy analysis, beam separation, and beam combination. The reflectivity Ravg of the reflective band is greater than 98%. The incident angle of the dichroic filter is 45 °.
