The gas cell reflector group is the core optical component in long path gas absorption cells (such as White cell and Herriott cell), which extends the path of infrared/laser beams in the gas under test through multiple reflections, significantly improving the sensitivity of trace gas detection (based on Lambert Beer law). ‌‌

Reflective mirror groups are often composed of concave mirrors and flat mirrors (such as the Herriott cell using two flat concave mirrors; The White Pool is composed of a three mirror system, and the mirror surface is often coated with gold (Au) or protective silver film, suitable for the mid infrared to near-infrared wavelength range (2-20 μ m), with a reflectivity>98%.

Dual Piece Integrated Mirror

gas cell mirrors

The dual piece integrated reflector can be used for gas pools in atmospheric and smoke environments (anti-corrosion). The gas pool reflector we prepared for flue gas anti-corrosion has good anti-corrosion effect and long service life. Especially the double-sided integrated reflector facilitates the installation and adjustment of the entire gas cell, and can be directly installed with the most accurate threaded hole to achieve the required optical path length.

Three Piece Mirrors

gas pool mirrors

Three piece conventional reflectors can be used for gas pools in atmospheric and smoke environments (anti-corrosion). The gas pool reflector we have prepared for flue gas anti-corrosion has good anti-corrosion effect, long service life, and is easy to install and adjust.

White Pool Reflective Mirror Group

white cells mirrors

White cell is a common type of long path gas absorption cell, consisting of three spherical concave mirrors. It uses the back and forth reflection of light between the mirrors to increase the optical path. Its advantages are a large aperture angle and a long absorption path, and the adjustment of the optical path is relatively simple.
