Lidar Filters
The narrowband filter of LiDAR is placed between the receiving lens and the detector (APD/Si/InGaAs), and is widely used in fields such as intelligent car driving, atmospheric measurement, and ocean research.
Mainstream working Wavelength
1. 905 nm
Light source: pulsed laser diode; Detector: Silicon APD
Applicable: Mechanical rotating radar MEMS、Flash、 Vacuum cleaning robot dToF, industrial distance measurement
Filter base: K9/BK7, fused silica JGS1
2. 1550 nm
Light source: fiber laser; Detector: InGaAs
Applicable: Front mounted high-end passenger cars, onboard surveying, long-range security radar
Material: fused silica, thin silicon substrate selected for some schemes
3. 1064 nm
Nd: YAG laser, terrain mapping, depth measurement LiDAR (paired with 532nm seawater penetration radar)
4. 532 nm
Airborne depth measurement lidar and atmospheric detection DIAL radar
Classification of Lidar Filters
1. Narrowband bandpass filter
2. Long wave pass /short wave pass
IR-CUT visible light cutoff chip, preliminary reduction of sunlight in the front, combined with narrowband chip cascade noise reduction
3. Dichroic mirror
Commonly used in transceiver optical systems: transmitting echoes to detectors, reflecting and emitting lasers; Or multi wavelength radar spectroscopy.
4. Window integrated filter
The outer protective window is directly coated with narrowband film to reduce the number of lenses and minimize reflection loss, and is commonly used in solid-state Flash radar.
