Time-resolved Fluorescent TRF Filters
Time resolved fluorescence (TRF) utilizes the ultra long fluorescence lifetime (μ s~ms level) of rare earth chelates (lanthanide elements) to detect after a delay in pulse excitation, completely filtering out nanosecond level spontaneous fluorescence backgrounds such as sample matrix and ordinary fluorescent dyes. The signal-to-noise ratio is much higher than steady-state fluorescence.
Standard filter configuration scheme
1. Single channel TRF (Eu ³ ⁺ direct detection)
Excitation filter: BP 320/25 nm or BP 340/35 nm (wide excitation optional 320/100 nm)
Emission filter: BP 615/10 nm or BP 620/10 nm
Dichroic mirror: D400/630 TRF dual color spectroscope
2. TR-FRET/HTRF dual channel (donor Eu+acceptor)
Excitation: BP 320/25 nm
Donor channel: BP 620/10 nm
Receptor channel: BP 665/8-10 nm
Bi directional mirror: D400/630 Dual
