Transmission grating beamsplitters are commonly used for splitting He-Ne laser beams and separating multiple laser beams within the visible range. The transmitted beam is diffracted into multiple orders.
Transmission grating beamsplitters consist of an epoxy resin replication layer deposited on a polished glass substrate with a refractive index matching the resin, thus achieving higher overall diffraction efficiency. These beamsplitters are specifically designed for He-Ne laser beam splitting.
Borisun Optics offers a variety of standard stock transmission grating beamsplitters in sizes of 12.7mm and 25mm, with grating counts of 70 l/mm, 80 l/mm, 92 l/mm, and 110 l/mm.
Important Note: The grating surface is easily contaminated and should be handled with extreme care. Touch only the edges. Fingerprints and various forms of mist can damage the grating coating. Minor scratches or surface imperfections generally do not affect optical performance. Consult us first if you require grating cleaning.
