The reflecting surface of the elliptical mirror is a plane with an elliptical outline. When it is placed in the optical path with an inclination of 45 °, the light passing shape is circular.
Borisun oprics support customized elliptical mirrors without coating and with reflective coating. The options of reflective coating include ordinary protective aluminum coating, protective silver coating, protective gold coating and dielectric high reflection coating. Fused quartz is suitable for UV applications.
